Climate Controlled Storage

Extreme temperature and humidity changes can damage or destroy items in storage units. Computer equipment, electronics, artwork, musical instruments, wood furniture, photographs, important documents, clothing, leather and other personal or business-related possessions are particularly susceptible to damage from intensely fluctuating temperatures and humidity levels found in indoor and outdoor storage facilities.

We keep the humidity below 60% which prevents mold and mildew. Humidity control is crucial to items like electronics, paper, fabrics and furniture. In addition to mold and mildew, things like warping, cracking/splitting, rust, corrosion, and bacteria growth, are avoided in a controlled environment.

Just like your home, we maintain the temperature between 55 and 80 F. By controlling both the temperature and the humidity, our indoor climate controlled units will safeguard your valuable possessions. Climate-controlled buildings also provide better protection from dust, dirt, bugs, wasp nests, mice and other pests.

A Climate Controlled facility will also provide you comfort while working within the unit or as you access to add/remove/organize the contents.

Items you might consider storing in a climate controlled storage unit may include:
